I had so much fun taking pictures of Erica, a one and a half year old pit bull darling, who has been at Sean Casey Animal Rescue since she was five months old. She was found wandering the streets, and has now spent her toddler-hood at the shelter, soaking in the love of all the care-takers. She is very loving and extremely affectionate. She was licking my hand, and I could see that she would gladly sit on a couch and watch tv with me, cuddling as close as she could get. She is also so playful, and would have tons of fun in the park, running around and being joyful. Erica loves everyone, from dogs to children. I don’t know where you would find a better dog. Please, run or drive or bike or take the subway as quickly as you can to Sean Casey Animal Rescue at:

Don’t let Erica spend one more night sleeping in the shelter. Give her the adoring home she needs.
I went for a visit to Sean Casey Animal Rescue today. I met Penny, one of the cutest, most unique-looking dogs. No one can figure out why she hasn’t been snapped right up by some lucky person or family. She has all the qualities you could want in a dog.
She’s adorable, and has a philosophical expression. She can look as though she is deep in thought, or completely amused and ready to play. One of her care-takers says that she is a dog who listens. Penny loves all people of any size and age, and most dogs. She isn’t huge, but she isn’t small. She’s from Georgia, but has adapted to Brooklyn, NY! I would definitely adopt her if I didn’t already have three dogs
. Penny looking philosophical
And if you like Boxers and/or Terriers, she fits that bill as well. So, what are you waiting for? Penny will complete your life.

Here is a perfect opportunity to make a difference. This little pup came from an animal hoarding situation. You should research this if it is the first time you are hearing about it. Poor little Tangelo, a Maltese, was one of many, many dogs all living in squalor and not having their needs met. Some of them never even got to go outside. So this little sweetie has been at Sean Casey Animal Rescue for about three weeks, and is the last of the group of dogs from that situation. I watched her little sister get adopted this afternoon. She is shy, but sweet, and likes to be held. She is almost puppy-like. It is estimated that she is around 8 years old, but I always remind people, small dogs live long lives. I would adopt her myself, but I already have three dogs. There is just such a sweetness coming from her. And her little tongue! I just love her. So will you. So… please, contact or go to Sean Casey Animal Rescue

Polly the Beagle is the perfect dog. Why she was found wandering around in Long Island, or was surrendered to a shelter in Long Island, is anyone’s guess. Probably another case of human obliviousness. One can only speculate. But don’t speculate for too long, because it really is just a sin that Polly is not cuddled up in her permanent human’s lap right now.
Polly is five years old, and very friendly and gentle. She’s healthy, and has no behavior issues. What more could you ask for? Cute as well. She is a lover of people and other dogs. Her big selling points are that she is mellow and she loves Cairns and Westies.
The only drawback is that she may have already been adopted, if you wait another minute!
